Day 1
Cairo
You'll land at Cairo airport and connect with your tour representative who handles the arrival formalities. They'll transfer you to your hotel where you'll meet your guide for a briefing on what's coming up over the next few days, then you'll have the rest of the evening to settle in.
Day 2
Cairo - Giza
Start the day with breakfast, then head out to the Giza Plateau where you'll see the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. After spending time there, travel to Saqqara to check out the Step Pyramid, which was Egypt's first completed pyramid, and walk through some ancient pharaonic tombs. You'll head back to your Cairo hotel for the night.

Cairo to Aswan
An early flight takes you from Cairo to Aswan where your representative meets you and transfers you to a 5-star Nile cruise. The afternoon includes a tour of Philae Temple on an island, and you'll take a small motorboat to get there. You'll stay aboard the cruise ship overnight.

Day 4
Aswan to Luxor
You'll spend much of the day sailing down the Nile, relaxing on deck while watching rural life along the banks. The ship stops at Kom Ombo temple where you can see the distinctive twin entrances overlooking the river. Later, you'll continue toward Luxor as the cruise moves overnight.

Luxor
After breakfast, you'll explore the East Bank of Luxor starting with Karnak Temple, one of Egypt's most significant Pharaonic sites. From there, you'll see Luxor Temple and walk through the impressive Avenue of Sphinxes. You'll stay aboard the cruise for another night.

Day 6
Luxor to Hurghada
Following breakfast, you're exploring the West Bank starting with Valley of the Kings, one of the richest archaeological sites. Next comes the Temple of Hatshepsut built for Egypt's only female pharaoh, then the Colossi of Memnon. An air-conditioned bus then takes you to Hurghada on the Red Sea for the night.

Day 7
Hurghada
This is a free day at Hurghada where you choose your own activities. Snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving are available if you want them. You can also just relax at the resort, grab good food and drinks, or wander around this Red Sea town. You'll stay another night here.

Day 8
Hurghada to Cairo
An early flight from Hurghada takes you back to Cairo. You'll visit the Egyptian Museum to see treasures from King Tutankhamun's tomb. After that, you'll head to Khan El Khalili, the old Cairo Bazaar, which has a maze of alleyways filled with souvenir stalls and coffee shops. You'll spend the night in Cairo.

Cairo
After breakfast, you're off to the Pharaonic Village, a living museum showing Egyptian history. Actors in Pharaonic costumes depict daily life, and you'll sail past ancient village replicas, watch craftspeople working, and explore a recreation of Tutankhamun's tomb. The rest of your day is free to explore on your own.
